Xensam continues European expansion across London and Bucharest amid surging customer demand
- Sweden-headquartered leader in AI-powered Software Asset Management scales operations, team, and product suite to manage increasing “SaaS sprawl”
[Stockholm, Sweden] 8 July 2025 – Xensam the world leader in AI-powered Software Asset Management (SAM) technology, today announced a further expansion of its operations to support accelerating customer demand for its SaaS-native, AI-powered SAM platform. The company is expanding its presence in London and opening a new office in the Romanian tech hub of Bucharest, further strengthening its position as Europe’s fastest-growing SAM company.
In the past six months, Xensam has achieved double digit growth, with a number of new customers joining the likes of Isle of Wight NHS Trust who already use its flagship AI-powered Xupervisor platform. Since 2022, the company’s workforce has increased by 700% to more than 70 employees across Europe, with plans in H2 2025 to recruit 30 more. In H1 2025, Xensam has also broadened its product suite with the launch of its SaaS Management Platform and DataBridge, empowering customers to manage both on-premise and cloud-based software with unprecedented visibility and control.
Xensam’s rapid growth comes as organizations worldwide struggle to manage rising software costs and an increasingly complex and decentralized software domain. With global SaaS spending projected to rise from $315.68 billion in 2025 to $1.13 trillion by 2032, and Gartner forecasting that, by 2027, 75% of employees will acquire or modify technology outside IT’s control, the need for Xensam’s intelligent, automated software asset management platform has never been greater.
Oskar Fösker, CEO and co-founder of Xensam said:
“Xensam’s sustained momentum in 2025 is a direct response to companies’ urgent need for smarter, more transparent software management. By expanding our team, product suite and operations into London and Bucharest, we’re scaling our ability to help enterprises regain control of their software spend, ensure compliance while enabling innovation – and enhance productivity. As we look ahead, we’re focused on providing intelligent solutions that deliver instant discovery, real-time insights and automate software compliance so enterprises can be operationally efficient and resilient while remaining agile.”
Alexandra Pettersson, Chief Culture Officer at Xensam, said:
“Our commercial success is powered by a strong culture of innovation, high performance and a supportive environment that allows talented people to thrive. The opening of the Bucharest office and the expansion of our London presence brings us closer to Europe’s top talent, allowing us to grow rapidly to meet customer demand while maintaining the values that set Xensam apart.”
